Laguna Resources Services, inc. professionals have extensive experience providing environmental services for industrial, commercial and governmental organizations, as follows: Environmental Assessment - Performed consultation and prepared documentation for compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) for various tribal projects, including landfill, fuel depot, housing, civic, and commercial development projects. Regulation Development - Developed various components of agency environmental regulatory programs, including tribal environmental protection act, water quality standards, and solid waste management codes. Waste, Water and Air Quality Programs - Performed research and analysis of technical and policy issues and advised decision-makers regarding multimedia environmental program development options. Prepared environmental program grant applications and federal delegation/program approval applications, including those for Clean Water Act Treatment as State and Solid Waste Program approval. Developed tribal water quality assessment (305b) report, water quality assurance project plan, and solid waste management and landfill closure plans. Facilitated agency planning sessions and administered various public participation efforts. Emergency Response Planning & Training - Provided Hazardous Materials Emergency Response training in First Responder Awareness, First Responder Operational and Incident Commander by certified instructors. (California Specialized Training Institute). Developed emergency response plans for tribal communities. Wetlands and Riparian Program - Developed tribal wetlands protection plan and wetlands awareness curriculum. Experienced in wetlands/riparian area delineation, evaluation, and restoration. Remediation Project Oversight - Assessed and administered the clean up of various regulated and polluted sites, including major petroleum spill, landfills, and illegal discharges. Hydrogeologic and Geophysic Assessment - Performed a multitude of hydrologic, geologic, and physical site assessment services, including contaminant fate and transport modeling, health risk assessment, and contaminated site investigations. Education and Communication/Coordination - Performed educational and liaison activities with governmental agencies, special interests, and instructional facilities to advance the understanding and promotion of tribal environmental issues, policies and programs. |
